Despite rumours that he is soon-to-be single, Justin Bieber appeared to be in boyfriend mode last night.
The Canadian "Boyfriend" singer was photographed Thursday night holding hands with girlfriend Selena Gomez on a date at Hollywood's Pink Pepper restaurant.

Yikes! We guess the 18-year-old pop star hasn't made peace with the paparazzi yet -- but hey, at least this time there weren't any casualties. Maybe he's still in a bad mood after recently being compared to Justin Timberlake by a Detroit radio show -- Bieber actually hung up on the host of Mojo in the Morning when he made the comparison during their off-air phone interview.

But perhaps we should cut the teen musician some slack, because it sounds like he hasn't been having the best time lately. Bieber and his gal pal have reportedly hit some relationship bumps lately after more than a year together. Most recently, People reported that Gomez was crying about Bieber at Ashley Tisdale's birthday party in Malibu on Monday.

According to TMZ, the couple got back together after briefly breaking up last week.
With all the conflicting reports, we would counsel Bieber's 24 million followers not to get excited just yet.
